-You will need to have fluid in your bladder for the procedure. You will be instructed to drink 32 oz. fluids after your injection and will not be allowed to void until after the procedure. If you would like to bring your own water that is fine, otherwise we will give you water from our tap. A full bladder is very important for adequate visualization of the uterus during the procedure.

The actual procedure is very quick, it will last only 15-30 minutes but you will need to arrive to the office one hour prior to the procedure. You also need to remain in the office for a short period after the procedure to ensure thar there are no problems.
-You will feel a little drowsy before and after the procedure from the medication administered to you, therefore you should arrange for transportation to the office prior to the procedure and back to your house after the procedure. You should not drive yourself before or after the procedure.
